Position: Offender Re-entry Transitional Services Technician

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Offender Re-entry Transitional Services Technician with a starting annual salary of $38,933. Work requires and involves integration or coordination of various services needed based on individual assessment for reentry including coordination of services for transition into the community. Provide ongoing support to eliminate fragmentation, duplication or gaps in care and treatment. Maintain involvement through an individual’s release from incarceration to community based services.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a current VA D.L Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, and medical examination. The selected candidate would enjoy an outstanding and comprehensive benefits package.

Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). This full time position performs a variety of duties associated with providing care to inmates, including administration of medications. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, or GED and must currently be certified as a CMA. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, medical, and fitness for duty examinations. The starting salary for this position is $32,269. Position: Onsite Tablet Program Administrator

The Northern Neck Regional Jail is seeking candidates for a full-time Onsite Tablet Program Administrator. This position is tasked with maintaining and managing inmate computer tablets program within the facility. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a current VA D.L. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, and medical examination. The salary for this position is $38,985. Position: Food Service Technician

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Food Service Technician with a starting annual salary of $30,732. The selected candidate would enjoy an outstanding and comprehensive benefits package. Duties include the coordination and supervision of food preparation, cooking, and serving at the jail. Flexibility in hours and ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is required. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, and medical examination. Minimum requirement of high school diploma or GED, and must have a current VA Driver’s License. Prior experience is preferred.

Position: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

The Northern Neck Regional Jail is seeking candidates for a full time Qualified Mental Health Professional to provide case management and counseling to incarcerated individuals. Duties include performing assessments of inmate needs; individual counseling, case management of chronic, acute, and crisis stages of mentally ill individuals, provide sound clinical documentation, and attend regular staffing meetings. Qualifications, Education and Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services, psychology, sociology, or closely related field. Clinical experience preferred. Registration with Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A, preferred.
Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, medical, and fitness for duty examinations. The starting salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. The selected candidate would enjoy an outstanding and comprehensive benefits package.

Position: Jail Officer

Successful completion of the jail basic academy within the first year of employment is required. The starting salary for this position is $42,000.
