Position: Jail Officer

The Northern Neck Regional is seeking candidates for a Jail Officer Position. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, or GED and have a current VA Drivers License. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, medical, and fitness for duty examinations. Successful completion of the jail basic academy within the first year of employment is required. The starting salary for this position is $33,687.47. Position: Position: Food Service Technician

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time food service technician with a starting annual salary of $28,269.07. Benefits include: paid holidays, coverage of 80% health insurance, retirement, life insurance, salary enhancements for college degree. Duties include the coordination and supervision of food preparation, cooking, and serving at the jail. Flexibility in hours and ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is required. Applicants must successfully complete a background investigation, polygraph, medical and fitness for duty exams. Minimum requirement of high school diploma or GED. Prior experience is preferred.

Position: Health Care Professional

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician - I (EMT-I) or LPN. This full time position performs a variety of duties associated with providing care to inmates, including administration of medications. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, or GED and have a current certification of EMT-I (or higher) or LPN. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, medical, and fitness for duty examinations. The starting salary for this position is $35,371.85 for an EMT-I, and $38,997.46 for an LPN. Position: Adult Education Instructor

The Northern Neck Regional Jail is seeking candidates for an Adult Education Instructor position for the inmate population. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid VA DL, possess a related bachelor’s degree, and attain any credentialing required by Virginia after hire. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, medical, and fitness for duty examinations. The authorized salary range for this position is $37,883.25 to $45,031.28. The selected candidate would enjoy an outstanding and comprehensive benefits package.
